Has anyone read Kathleen Norris' new book, Acedia? I checked it out from the library and am having a tough go of it. It is boring. Oh, wait a minute it is about being boring. It is boring.
Should I keep at it, or should I just assume I am bored reading a book about boredom?

I read most of it when it came out, which was right after my son died. So, while I too found it difficult to get into (yes, boring) my perceptions at the time don't count.
In my class on spiritual direction the other night, a couple of people gave it raves.
So who knows?
Ant btw I am liking Home. But it, to, is difficult. Well, what isn't?
